STOLM Totaalinterieur redesigned this attic floor into a fully functioning living space where comfort, calm and ease of use are central. The design vision started from creating a cohesive and sheltered environment, tailored to the specific characteristics of the attic — with its sloping roofs, changing light and more intimate scale.
By choosing wall-to-wall Lima carpet from our wool collection, a material was chosen that contributes to the space both functionally and aesthetically. The carpet softens the architecture, improves acoustic comfort and enhances the usability of the floor. The natural wool texture brings warmth and tactile interest, while the uniform finish introduces calm and visual unity.
In this context the carpet functions not merely as a floor covering, but as a structuring element that connects the attic floor into one coherent whole.
