Your cat or dog decides to pee on your rug. Nice is different, but how do you clean this up?

There already exists 1 golden rule to fight urine stains on your carpet: be very quick. This prevents the urine from drying up and getting into the fibers of the carpet, causing a stain. It is therefore very important to react immediately when the liquid is only just on the carpet

Step 1: Dab with a cloth

take a cloth and make it wet with lukewarm water † If necessary, add a drop of highly diluted shampoo. Gently dab with your cloth over the urine Be carefulwdon't run your cloth over the urine but only dab over the liquid † Rubbing will only make the stain bigger. Continue to dab for 1 minute until the stain is completely gone.

Step 2: Lukewarm water with vinegar

Thereafter nTake a clean cloth again and make it wet with lukewarm water. you add   here one number of drops of vinegar Gently pat the urine stains until the stains are completely out of your rug.

Step 3: Let it dry for a while

To finish, take a dry cloth and blot away any remaining moisture. Let your rug dry for a while and your carpet is spot-free again.

Step 4: Fighting Odor

Once the stain has been removed from the rug, the urine may still have an odor. You can combat this unpleasant odor with some soda sprinkle on the affected area. Soda neutralizes the acidic urine odor causing it to disappear. Let the soda soak for a few hours.
